Health care reform repeal voted on by the House of Representatives gets a local activist group moving quickly.
Citizen Action of New York released its report on “How to get health care reform right in New York State”.
A week ago, the Republican led House voted to repeal the health care reform law.
Citizen Action says its new report is a road map for state legislators in 2011 to build a pro-consumer health care system by 2014.
“There are a lot of critical details that need to happen as we get health care reform in the future, and that’s what we want out state legislature and our new governor to look forward and to make New York State the best place in the country and be the leader in terms of health care implementation, said Mary Clark.
Citizen Action says a repeal would of the national legislation would negatively affect all Americans.
It says hundreds of thousands have already benefited from the reform bill.
