Justice Works: A Conference for Progressive New York is less than a week away. If you haven’t already, register now to make sure you don’t miss out on the progressive event of the year!

Justice Works features a who’s who list of progressive speakers: Professor and Progressive Commentator Melissa Harris-Perry, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, and Executive Editor of The Nation Betsy Reed, just to name a few. Whether you’re an organizer, a community leader, an activist, a blogger, a policy wonk, or all of these things – Justice Works is the conference for you.

At Justice Works, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about a wide range of issues facing New York and America. From workshops on the state and federal budgets, improving education, the fight for affordable health care, and the push for fair elections, among many others, attendees will leave the event with inspiration, motivation, and the tools to take action and make change.

Justice Works will be a conference that brings together a cross section of progressive politics and organizing in New York State, at a time when our united power, coordination and understanding is essential to beat back the powers of greed and individualism that are dismantling our social structures and tearing down our communities. Together we’ll train, share, network, teach and learn how each of our fights, our campaigns, our efforts, make up the gears that move New York toward justice. Come to be inspired.

It’s not too late to register! Click here to learn more about the registration process. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.

Can’t make it? No sweat. We’ll be live-tweeting the conference from @citizenactionny. Tweet using the hashtag #JusticeWorksNY to join the conversation.

We hope you can come to our conference and join us in helping move New York towards justice.
