Actors portraying Franklin D. and Eleanor Roosevelt will be part of a demonstration at 10 a.m. Thursday outside the district office of U.S. Rep. Chris Gibson, R-Kinderhook, at 513 Broadway in Saratoga Springs.
The demonstration is part of statewide caravan to call attention to issues such as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security as Congress debates whether to raise the federal debt ceiling, according to a press release from the “Restore the American Promise” coalition of labor unions and advocacy organizations, including Citizen Action.
