Dodging your taxes is as bad as cheating at baseball.
But Verizon has not paid one dime in taxes since the economy tanked, while raking in $32 billion in profits over the last three years. They even took in nearly a $1 billion tax refund from the federal government, while job programs, social security, Medicare and our schools get cut.
We in the 99% are doing our part – we’ve tightened our belts to make do with less. Verizon needs to stop dodging taxes and do their part too.
