Today, Citizen Action of New York’s Executive Director Karen Scharff and the Schuyler Center for Analysis and Advocacy’s President and CEO Kate Breslin testified before New York’s Education Reform Commission, in the hopes of improving student achievement, increasing parent and family engagement in education, and to examine the problems of high-need and low-wealth school communities.
