Over A Week Since Filing Due, Kevin Stocker Still in Violation of Election Law

Buffalo, NY – With more than a week passed since the 32 day pre-election campaign finance disclosures were due, State Senate District 60 candidate Kevin Stocker has still not filed the required disclosure forms. In response to this violation of the law, Brian Trzeciak, Lead Organizer for Citizen Action of New York, said:
“If Kevin Stocker won’t abide by simple campaign finance disclosure laws as a candidate, voters can be sure he’ll have no interest in reforming them once elected. New York’s notoriously lax campaign finance laws have led to the culture of corruption that voters cite as one of our state’s most important issues needing reform. Stocker has ignored filing deadlines for this election and has yet to file expenditure reports from his recent primary campaign in which he loaned himself over $100,000. Western New York voters deserve to know where Stocker‘s money is coming from and how it’s being spent.”
