Community Organization Cites Nadler’s Leadership in Fighting for Social, Economic and Racial Justice
New York, NY – Today, Citizen Action of New York announced its endorsement of Rep. Jerry Nadler for re-election to represent New York’s 10th District in the House of Representatives. Citing Rep. Nadler’s long record as a champion of issues important to working families, Citizen Action’s board voted unanimously on the endorsement.
“We’re proud to have Rep. Nadler represent us in Congress and will work to make sure he continues his role in fighting for everyday New Yorkers,” said Citizen Action of New York Secretary Margaret Segall. “Even under enormous pressure from very powerful and wealthy interests, Rep. Nadler won’t stop fighting for what’s right.”

Rep. Nadler’s work in support of comprehensive campaign finance reform through small donor matching, a more progressive tax system, access to a quality public education for every child, access to quality affordable health care for everyone, and responsible foreign policy were key reasons for Citizen Action’s enthusiastic endorsement..
