June 29, 2022 (Schenectady, NY)–With Election Day in the rearview mirror, Citizen Action of New York congratulates former candidate for Assembly District 111, Justin Chaires, for running a great race. His campaign demonstrated the popularity of progressive ideas amongst the vast majority of everyday New Yorkers, motivated many who have not been previously engaged, and had a meaningful impact on the race for AD 111.

Ahead of this election, Citizen Action of New York members knocked on thousands of voters’ doors and made thousands of phone calls to voters. Together, we are building grassroots political power in New York State. New Yorkers need leaders who listen to our needs and will take the fight for those issues seriously.
