It’s time to make Albany work for all New Yorkers, not just big donors. To tackle the crisis we face in housing, living wage jobs, criminal justice, affordable health care, transportation, climate, fair taxes, and more, we must transform a campaign finance system that advantages the interest of the few over those of the many!

Join us for a community discussion about the obstacles facing our neighborhoods, what we need to do to address them, and how we can empower communities in the political process!

Did you know? New York State has a constitutional obligation to fund public schools. More than 10 years ago a court case supported the claims that NYS was not fulfilling its obligation. Today, Buffalo City School District is owed $118 million! That is money that it has been owed year after year. We have just 3 weeks to make sure that our elected representatives know that Buffalo students deserve that money and it’s a priority for our communities. Representatives are making decisions about the budget right now! If we don’t call, they think it’s not a priority. All of the programs, services and support we want for our students cost money. Imagine what we could do with $118 million!!
