Albany, NY – Citizen Action of New York, a statewide, grassroots organization that fights for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice, today announced their support of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to represent New York in the United States Senate.
“Senator Gillibrand has built herself a record in the Senate of progressive change and justice,” said Té Revesz, a member of Citizen Action of New York’s Board of Directors. “She has worked tirelessly for the people of New York by fighting hard for health care reform, women’s issues, the repeal of ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell,’ keeping government accountable – just to name a few issues – and we’re proud to offer her our endorsement and work to ensure she goes back to the Senate.”
