Today, over 50 good government, civil rights, environmental, labor, community, health care, social justice, and grassroots advocacy organizations sent letters to Speaker Silver and the Assembly, and Majority Skelos and the State Senate, asking them to advocate for and enact a system of publicly financed voter-owned elections in the 2011 legislative session.
