Community Group Rallies Behind Progressive
New York, NY – Citizen Action of New York, a grassroots membership organization that fights for key issues like quality and affordable health care for all, Fair Elections campaign finance reform, fair education funding, racial justice, and a more progressive tax system, today announced their endorsement of Brad Hoylman in his bid to represent the 27th Senate District.
“Brad Hoylman’s experience in bringing community, labor and business interests together will help ensure that our state moves to creating jobs, a strong economy, and a strong community for working families in New York City and across New York State.” said Té Revesz, a member of the Board of Citizen Action of New York and chair of the Citizen Action of New York City Chapter. “We’re proud to offer Brad our endorsement because we know that he will be a tireless fighter for the interests of working families, by fighting for key issues like Fair Elections campaign finance reform that will limit the influence that CEO campaign contributors can have in our election system.”
