Rochester, NY – Citizen Action of New York’s Rochester chapter announced its endorsement of Robin Wilt in New York’s 25th Congressional District. Robin is a Brighton Town Board member and long-time Rochester resident. Citizen Action cites her commitment to education, environmental and racial justice as key reasons for their endorsement.
“Our campaign is proud to join Citizen Action of New York in the fight for a better Monroe County,” said Robin Wilt, candidate for New York’s 25th Congressional District. “Grassroots community organizing together with progressives winning at the ballot box will bring the transformative change we need. We look forward to working with Citizen Action to win social, racial and economic justice.”
“Robin has shown a deep commitment to Monroe County residents. From passing laws against discrimination, to advocating for health care for all and a fairer justice system, she has risen to meet our community’s most basic needs,” said Nidia Benitez, a member of Citizen Action of New York. “I know she will keep fighting for us in Congress.”
