In light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Citizen Action of New York’s Vice-President Jim Anderson released the following statement:
“War, no matter the reason, creates human loss and trauma of epic proportions. Citizen Action of New York stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine as they are faced with this unjustified Russian invasion. The people of Ukraine have the right to live and exist in peace, as everyone has inherent dignity. New York is home to the second-largest Ukrainian population in the world and as fellow New Yorkers, we stand with you. We support the Ukrainian people, those who are protesting against this horrific invasion, and all those fighting for peace around the world.”
