January 26, 2024 (Albany, NY) – In continuing a 40-year legacy of steadfast commitment to transforming New York into a just and equitable place where everyone can thrive, Citizen Action of New York is proud to announce Our Justice Agenda 2024, a package of priority bills that address housing, health care, education and child care, the climate crisis, ending mass incarceration, democracy, and public money. Rebecca Garrard, Deputy Executive Director of Citizen Action of New York, had the following to say:

Now more than ever, New Yorkers are looking to Governor Hochul and the legislature to move the needle on the reforms needed for us all to thrive and to end a decades-long course of underinvestment in our communities and overinvestment into the pockets of the ultra-rich.”
